We are in magine tomorrow 2025! At the 2025 International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Event “Imagine Tomorrow”, the “Artificial Intelligence-Supported 3D Mapping Project PIRITA”, which was developed by employees at the Istanbul Gelişim University Technology Transfer Office and became a project of the ULAV Company established in TEKMER, attracted great attention. At the demo-day at “Imagine Tomorrow”, attended by 58 entrepreneurs; ULAV was deemed worthy of the Young Entrepreneur and Honorary Awards with its PIRITA and PIRIHA Projects. The Artificial Intelligence-Supported 3D Mapping Project had also achieved great success by becoming a finalist in the Research Project of the Year: STEM category at THE Awards Asia 2025, one of the most prestigious higher education rankings in the world. PIRITA, which was implemented with a local and national technology approach, was developed using machine learning and image processing techniques instead of Lidar sensors. The mapping process is carried out with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) called DIKY, specially designed for the project. With its high-speed and long-range operation capability, DİKY offers a significant innovation in the field of mapping. The project achieved significant success by winning the gold medal at the TEKNOFEST ISIF'24 Patent Competition held in Adana in recent months. Now, it has taken its place on the Imagine Tomorrow 2025 stage as one of the most innovative examples of domestic technology initiatives.
