TAI Hangar Campus Program has started: IGU competes with innovative ideas in space and satellite systems!

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) is participating in the “Innovative Technological Solutions and Business Models
for Space and Satellite Systems” competition organized within the scope of the 2025 Hangar Campus Program with three teams.
With its theme this year, the Hangar Campus program invites young entrepreneurs and university students to leave their mark
in the field of space technologies once again.The competition supports participatory projects in a wide range of innovations,
from satellite communications to environmental monitoring, from integrated threat assessment systems to smart satellite networks.
 

A door to the future with a comprehensive theme

The 2025 Hangar Campus program aims to support a wide range of innovative ideas, from satellite communications to environmental monitoring, from integrated threat assessment systems to smart satellite networks. The program, which is open to students at associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels, aims to highlight projects that will create added value.
 

Teams are supported with training and technical visits

Aiming to contribute to Turkey’s vision in the space field, Hangar Campus contributes to the development of innovative business ideas while also supporting the participation teams to gain technical and sectoral knowledge. In this context, the teams competing within the program had the opportunity to develop their projects by receiving entrepreneurship training. In addition, students had an inspiring experience by establishing direct contact with the sector with the technical visit organized to TAI (Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc.), one of the leading institutions in the defense and aviation industry.
