In this project, object detection will be performed on images obtained by unmanned aerial vehicles using FPGA technologies. Thus, the contribution of FPGA, which is designed differently from other microprocessors and special integrated circuits in terms of efficiency and high performance, on image processing is analyzed in detail on UAV images. Software will be developed in VHDL programming language for autonomous object detection and tracking, and its applicability will be tested by running this software on FPGA. Thus, it is aimed to achieve better instantaneous object detection using FPGA.
