Istanbul Gelisim University Technology Transfer Office (IGU TTO) is the unit where Istanbul Gelişim University works to cooperate with the
public and private sectors regarding R&D and innovation, to protect the knowledge and inventions produced within the scope of intellectual property and to put them into practice.
a. Awareness, Promotion, Information and Education Services; Providing necessary information, promotion and training services in order to improve the cooperation between the university and the industry, creating a business inventory to match the academic knowledge and experience of the university with the needs of the industry, communicating with TTO offices in Turkey or abroad through networking activities in this field. It tries to contribute to raising the level of knowledge, consciousness and accumulation.
b. Services for Benefiting from Support Programs; It provides the development of announcement mechanisms and the organization of events to raise awareness among academicians about national and international financial support programs and to benefit from them.
c. Project Development / Management Services; It is envisaged to provide support for producing information and documents
related to the promotion of academicians fields of expertise, developing projects and creating contracts in order to ensure that contracted projects are carried out between the industry and the university. In addition, it plans to carry out activities such as organizing project market and project competition events, as well as providing test and analysis services for the industry, and organizing projects for the treatment of business diseases resulting from the analysis.
d. Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights Management and Licensing services; It plans to provide services that will provide support throughout the entire process, including making patent/utility model/industrial design applications within the scope of intellectual and industrial property rights, monitoring the process, marketing and commercializing the registered property rights, and concluding the license agreement.
e. Entrepreneurship Development and Incorporation Services; It provides access to venture capital, business establishment consultancy, providing training services and organizing activities to raise awareness on these issues.
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
As Istanbul Gelişim University Technology Transfer Office, it is to create an added value by increasing production on the industrial basis in line with robotic studies and these studies. Although projects related to advanced roboticstudies are carried out within the Technology Transfer Office, these advanced robotic studies have proven themselves in many national and international robotic competitions. Apart from this, many projects that have made a sound in the robotics sector have been signed. These works we have done have been represented in the best way by taking part in the fair, event and promotion days, which are held on the basis of national and international innovation.
